10FEB2024 Colossal Done

I was notified by Legion that I am done with Colossal. I didn’t really understand how this could be, but acknowledged it and decided to look at it later. After finishing up a post that will publish on Feb 28th, I had some insight into how this had happened.

The relationships that were likely to trigger areas where Colossal would be able to be most effective are largely handled in my work and home sphere. I’m not going to pretend to have seen the link at the time. I openly stated I was a little confused. I do get it and I will explain as best I can while maintaining privacy and work discretion.

There were a few groups that were a bit…rowdy…every day. Several times a day. To the point of being disruptive. My/Their supervisor is typically in meetings most of the day and doesn’t see it. Don’t get me wrong, they were working a little. They just didn’t have enough to do and were disturbing those of us that literally leave at the end of the day as mental zombies from the work we have to do. This isn’t an efficiency thing. They have small focus areas and some of us have focus areas for several people if not double that.

This was nullified with this little ritual.

After this ritual, there was a marked decline in how obnoxious they were being in work spaces. They are only doing it a few times per day and typically for less than ten minutes. At this point, it’s even less than that. How’s that belong here?

It was perfect fuel for Colossal. Pent up rage and irritation. Inability to take charge. Feeling powerless to make change around you. All of those areas are Colossal food.

I didn’t just use a ritual. I followed it up with action, too. I would ask them to take it to a hallway after twenty minutes, ask them to lower it a little, or ask them to take a conversation to an empty room (right next to them). I wasn’t a jackass about it. There was no need, even if I wanted to be more times than not.

It’s not their fault I operated mostly at night in Iraq, in teams of 3-4. With night vision that only worked maybe half the time. AND that I have above-average hearing. But there had to be a compromise somewhere. I did upgrade my headphones, but they can’t be noise-canceling due to work policy (hearing emergency notifications).

The actions taken alone hadn’t resolved it. It was getting better slowly. The ritual, however, did. It siphons off the intent to make those actions near me when I’m trying to work. Have fund somewhere else. I don’t care about how much work they do or don’t have on a given day.

The ritual itself isn’t public quite yet, because the gate information isn’t public. It’s a grimoire I’m working on at the moment. I suspect there will be 12 “light” gates and 12 “dark” gates. I’m on gate 2 for each section. But seeing this one work in real-time was pretty damn cool.

I was not notified that I would be calling on another shadow at the moment, so that’s where it’s at.
