The 3 fold ‘law’ is largely nonsense. It reeks of the same social control mechanism as ‘karma’ and “Heaven and Hell”. Aside from the control mechanism, it’s an excuse for why consequences, retribution, and magical failure doesn’t happen. They’ll pay “some day”. Oh? And how does that seem to work out against actual measurements?
If you’d like to learn where the 3-fold law came from, study more of the role of Karma in Hindu literature and the research New Age misunderstanding of it. Toss in some Christian nonsense about the certainty of paying for deeds and you get the origins and priming for the pretend 3-fold law.
Private equity firms typically run businesses into the ground after purchasing them. Their track record for selling and making fortunes is quite pronounces. After they’ve ruined hundreds of lives. And this is done again and again.
People HOPE there’s some sort of consequence…SOMEWHERE…so they can sleep better at night and uphold the above-board character they feel obligated to continue to perform as. If you think I’m much different, despite this quick blurb, you’re wrong.
But somebody has to make the hard decisions and calls when it isn’t spread out amongst those with character and ability.
Do some research. Look at the idiocy and misunderstanding of the origins of Wicca and similar. And make the decision as to whether you will act or not. Inaction is enabling when it’s negatively affecting others, isn’t it?
