I got ready to project into the scene through the pictorial hieroglyphs presented for the second gate. I was stopped by Anubis, who said I should project to him. I did this. It was near the gate – looking at it from the western side maybe at a 45° angle.
The gate was a little bit more ornate than the last one was. I could see swirls and what look like (parts of) snakes on the outside but I couldn’t really see anything in detail. This was on purpose. Once I noticed this I saw the gate open – one door swinging inwards with the other door swinging outwards. Then I saw it close. This happened a few more times. I don’t recall a single gate opening this way the last time I did this walkthrough.
I was motioned that I needed to go next even though there were people waiting in line. I kind of felt bad about that, as I was cutting in front of an older looking lady. I couldn’t really see any other features from her or the others in line. The lady closest to me was pretty nondescript. Very small and almost seemed like she was wrapped in linen which confused me. But she just motioned emphatically for me to go in front of her, so I did.
I stood before the gate and I didn’t really notice any other entities except those in the line behind me and of course Anubis. When the door swung open for me they both swung open inward at the same time. I don’t know why this difference happened but it did. (Note upon copying this here, I never found out why mine was different or even if it mattered).
I walked through and instead of being greeted with something on the other side, the path went downward. Steeply downward as in you could not walk it. You had to mostly slide down it. It was loose dirt but yet it was also a well-worn trail. I couldn’t see anything else in front of me and I felt this was because my focus should be on the trail and not on the scenery. So I started to walk on this trail and then started sliding.
I didn’t slide for very long it felt like it was over pretty quickly. There were a couple of points where I stopped and then had to take a couple steps and then started sliding again, but the physical scenery I saw with the trail didn’t change at all – just the actions it took to go over those same apparently the same dirt.
When I finally stopped sliding I realized I was in some sort of cave or maybe a tomb. It reminded me of the hallway where I saw the other human going through the procession. But this tunnel or cave was much less refined. It led to somewhere, but not everybody took this path. I was stopped before I could take a step into this sort of mostly flat stone walkway and was told that I could read the next scene but that was all. What this ended up meaning was that I was allowed to read the scene but it wasn’t quite time to read the description of the scene so that’ll have to wait until later.
