Pele’s Volcanic Mountain

This ritual is designed to break up and disperse the target in some way. Think of it as a disruptive ritual used to split things up, break them apart. If a building is used as an example, the lava mountain would burn through the middle and push all of the sides away from each other, quartering the building. This can be used in conjunction with Pele’s Earthquake to further soften the target. I’ve used this against organizations, warded targets, and relationships in the past.

The essence of it is to have a firm picture of the target you’d like to disperse, call on the magma below, and send it through the middle of the target (or a specific part of one), and then let the mountain rise on its own as you continue to pull the magma. Then, let it cool to solidify the dispersal.

  1. Define the target(s)
  2. Write the target(s) in the center of the paper.
  3. Draw a circle around it and then two crossed lines to define the quadrant (or a single line, if you’re dividing two things.
  4. Write the part(s) of the target in each quadrant to define the splitting to occur.
    1. If you’re dividing many things, several things in each section is fine.
    2. The important part is to define the splitting to happen.
  5. Call on Pele to help guide the working, if desired.
  6. Connect with your Spark
  7. Draw your awareness down to the Magma below your feet.
  8. Connect to them and begin drawing it up through the center of the circle, letting it cover and cool as it sees fit.
  9. Keep drawing it upwards until you feel enough energy has been accumulated and, in your mind’s eye, you can see the mountain splitting the target into quarters.
  10. When enough energy has been sent, disconnect from the Magma.
  11. Thank Pele, if you have asked for her help.
  12. Safely burn the paper.

An alternative to this ritual could be done another way. Adapt it to meet your needs.

  6. Energize a Red, Yellow, or Orange candle with your preferred method.
    1. Send the intent in that this will act as your fountain of magma to create the splitting you desire.
  7. Light the candle and drip enough wax onto the center to hold the candle in place in the center of the paper.
  8. Let the candle burn completely.
    1. If the paper catches fire in the end, this saves you the trouble of burning it.
  9. Thank Pele, if you have asked for her help.
  10. Safely burn the paper.
