This working is more complicated than some of the others, because it requires an evocation of the target that likely doesn’t want that to happen. This can be done physically, with a circle or triangle, or astrally, provided you can maintain control over the target in that environment.
I encourage the use of Hi’iaka here until you get the hang of working with Nature energies similar to thorns, whether poisonous, barbed, or smooth. Some may want to skip ahead, if they have the evocation skills, but not the Nature archetype experience. If you can reach out to Nature and ask for a thorn seed and get one (or create one from Nature), then I suggest asking Hi’iaka for her help.
The premise is to evoke the target into a holding space, call upon Nature for a seed, energetically bind the seed into the target’s energetic field (inside of them, essentially), then grow it to enclose the target with the vines, thorns pointing inward to painfully ensnare them.
- Connect with your Spark
- Call on Hi’iaka, if desired.
- Evoke the target into a triangle or circle.
- If you’re using Hi’iaka’s help
- Ask her for a seed or
- Ask her to implant the seed into the target
- Implant the seed into the target’s energy.
- Bind the seed to the target’s energy and instruct it to use their energy for growth.
- “Water” the seed and let it grow.
- Feed it Nature energy as needed/desired.
- Watch as the seed wraps itself around the entire body, including the internal organs. If it seems confused, give it direction by connecting to it and giving it intent.
- Once satisfied, release the target from the evocation.
- Thank Hi’iaka, if used.
I can see people asking about watering the seed. UPG time. It’s a reference to our Subconscious that it’s further anchored into the target. Once the magician starts moving away from largely item-heavy rituals, a shift starts happening where you realize that more of “You” is working on your workings than your waking self.
