This scene took quite a while and was a combination of several levels of service and the projection into the Scene. I overdid it with my hike to Ka’ena Point the other weekend, so, the bug I had been trying to get over decided to come back. Or it was the new version making its way around the office and I couldn’t quite fight it off. Regardless, this was a significant reason for the delay.
But delays don’t mean the night work stops. I performed some “service” across several nights. Usually I woke up realizing I had been in service and it wasn’t uncommon for me to wake up and go right back into another service scenario. There some bits and pieces I recall, but typically don’t get more than fragments when I work in my sleep. I can remember pulling the barque in one fragment and helping push it in another. The pushing didn’t really make sense to me – until today.
I was called by Anubis to project into the scenario and he didn’t want me to wait to reread it prior. I sent myself there and was standing on the barque. I could see people pulling the barque from the front and people in the rear, ready to push as needed. I noticed I was standing on the right side of the barque and someone or something was standing to my left. I could tell they were a “complex” spirit, but they were being masked, shrouded. I could do a side-eye glance to their front and see. I could somehow to the same to their rear, without turning my head. I wasn’t being allowed to know who or what it was. There was nothing else to be done about that, but it bears being noted.
I also noticed there were people at regular intervals, male and female – mainly androgynous looking but most leaning more heavily towards one side or the other. They had what looked like paddles. Not the long paddles of kayaks or canoes, but the rounded paddles with short heads and long shafts. They were both helping move the water along and clearing debris that would come with the water. It was the same, fluid motions regardless of which they were doing. I questioned what I was seeing and I was shown examples of the debris in my mind. Not the actual debris but representations like rocks, mud globs, and leaf/tree scraps. These were both environmental, aural, and dependent upon who was traveling. It was at this point that those memories of pushing made more sense.
Anubis indicated that this was all he had to show me for this and that I was free to leave (and wouldn’t be getting other substantial lessons by staying in this scenario/Scene).
