And just like that…most of the behind the scenes checks and bounds are done. In 2018, this took about 4 and 1/2 to 5 months just to get to the point where they can cut me my paperwork with the date that I will leave. I was really stressing all this because there are six or seven different sub orgs that all had to sign off to say “Yes, he can go”. Most of these required several face-to-face meetings and getting hooked to machines that stress me out with a clean conscience.
The only reason it really happened as fast as it did last time was because I would literally fill out some paperwork, send it in an email, and then be calling within an hour – in some cases or a day in others. It does leave me in the oddly nice position of only have to schedule movers, a house hunting trip (if we take it), numerous pet vaccination visits, then the flight(s) and I have ~6 months to get there.
I don’t fully know all the spirits involved that helped make this possible, so I’ll probably just call out to all those who played a part, ask them to gather others that helped, and then just make offerings to them as a group. I did specifically ask a few spirits to help smooth over some of these areas, but I feel that there were many many more that helped make it possible that I’m not aware of.
There are still some other things that will give me heartburn but this was probably the largest of them and for that I am quite grateful. Guess I’ll be in ritual today after all. .
