I was considering another mini-campaign to work on some clear imbalances and things I perceive to be unjust. Sometimes those with the ability have the responsibility. Sometimes they are called on by spirits to act when they can’t quite make the decision themselves. This happens to me a lot, but partially due to the Judgement Ritual I did from Josephine McCarthy’s The Exorcist Handbook. This ritual has caused me to consider what I do more than before. Being an intelligence/informational/systems analyst, I do this naturally, but it does cause some pause. If I’m willing to take the hit, and I usually am, then it’s settled.
For a near real-time example, I was called to act, or at least consider it, this week, 05-06MAY25. It seemed like half of my spirits were saying I should do it, half were saying I shouldn’t. It wasn’t literally half, but half the voices from those I work with more frequently, from very different pantheons. This left me a little confused. So, I turned to a friend of mine whose readings and opinion I trust. And she knows my practice extensively. Has benefited from it, as have her ancestors.
In her Wisdom, and having years of knowing my practice, she did a two part reading that was what would happen if I did intervene and what would happen if I didn’t. It was lopsided on both sides, in a way, with the cards saying I should and shouldn’t in both veins. The leading cards on one side were clear YES answers to intervene and secondary cards with a NO against it. The middle cards were opposites to the first cards. The third cards showed the same confusion, but gave some clarity. “Justice” wouldn’t necessarily be served in a direct manner.
But while listening to these messages, I had a third option pop into my head – removal of protections in certain areas.
It was after this popped into my head that the message from my friend continued. She typically gets either the King of Wands or the King of Swords in my position when reading for one of my campaigns. These are usually very clear-cut campaigns, but it didn’t happen this time. There was a different card there and her interpretation of this card in this position was that I would gain success by not being in the complete “driver’s seat”. My remembrance of that inspiration came back to mind as soon as she said this.
Enacting this would be a sort of middle ground. It would both enable operations against the ‘tyrant’ organization, which would force action that would diminish the “protection” they enjoy. The same sorts of protection (via spirits, typically bound to perform in their capacity) I’ve noticed in other actions I’ve gone against since the start of the year.
As I contemplated my next moves, I was interrupted by none other than Baal (not Bael). He asked me to “bless” a small number of people that I knew were militants and that I knew could cause trouble I wasn’t interested in being a part of (think civilian casualties). They were going to largely be martyrs and my concerns were voiced, which he agreed to tamp down and direct them towards military-like targets, citing that they still had free agency, just like me. Fair point.
While the above action wasn’t exactly liked, the sort of…compromise…with the mechanism I would be employing was a sort of middle ground where no one was happy, but could live with it. This was a sort of middling approach that would force metaphysical action or I would open up in that realm.
You may be asking if this has consequences. Of course it does. The reading was full of them on both sides. My similar actions has been full of them.
You cannot enact meaningful change without consequences.
Does that mean those consequences are YOURS? No, but that depends on your misdirection or the scattering of blame across a collective, right? I don’t hide THAT I do. I don’t really hide WHAT I do. But I do hide HOW I do it, unless you have similar experience.
I do not recommend that initial or middling magicians/witches/(whatever ridiculous label is popular) go after targets like mine. There should be a gradual step up of both scope and “cost”. If you target certain world leaders and are actually competent, you *may* get a visit from a destructive angel or Goetics like Andras or Glasya-Labolas. You must be able to deal with these entities in perhaps a “full”er strength than you’re used to. There is a correlation between the power an entity will use and the power of the magician that is calling in some cases. You must understand that if you want to sit at the “big kids table” of international effects. And please don’t think that your relationship with a particular entity will mean they will not perform their “function”. You must have the skills to fight it off, mitigate it, or have a series of spirits that will help do the same as you work on your skills.
I know, bit of a scope creep, but it’s more “real” that those seasonal witches that don’t do shit, can’t do shit, don’t know shit, but produce good videos. By the way, I’ve had encounters with those listed entities (and more) as I work on greater and greater international things. Gradual preparations for certain energies related to the darker sides and equal “cultivation” (literally) helped mitigate more/most of these attacks.
Plan for today for the wars of tomorrow. And next week. And next Month/Quarter/Year….
Well…if you want to actually be competent.
Follow up – so, I freed these subjugated “angels” providing protection and they immediately turned their attentions towards me. I could feel I was “negative”ly judged, but don’t know these angels or their fields. But I was about to be judged when another stepped in to vouch for me. Truth is, if he hadn’t, I would’ve had a fight on my hands that I KNEW wouldn’t be pretty.
Did I know what these angels were doing? No, not at all. I know what they were providing.
People forget that not all angels are “personable” . Some should be considered “single-focused tools”. The three I had released had one severe one in that category, a medium-severe, and a lighter, less logical one that would act if they did without hesitation (this could be due to being a in a “chorus” or similar structure, a ranking with unit cohesion.
Doable, yes. Waste of time and resources? Yes, for me, but not for them. Thankfully, another angel intervened (the one from the Judgement ritual, actually). Unexpected, but welcomed. And I think this scenario, overall, is a good description for those that move beyond the petition phase to get more direct action into those areas they see fit.
