Still doing my daily mantra(s) to Kali. Sometimes, she wants “Om Kali Ma”. Other times she wants “Om Krim Kali”. Bu the method of focus and actionable practice has changed.
I make a connection to my idol to Kali, which is connected to the aspect that came through a connection from another entity I have worked with for a while. You can read about that HERE.
After establishing this connection, I directly pull energy from my idol into myself. I then focus on this energy connection when doing the mantra. Cake, right?
At this point, it’s directly tied to breath. I breath in this energy, which varies depending on my focus and distractions at the time. This may seem odd, but I do a lot of my mantras and daily cultivation work in the presence of others. I have a day job that, no matter how paltry, still has a pension and the job itself actually matters. Gotta keep it.
I breath the energies in, focus on those energies, and then breathe them out with the mantra. This typically means I get one or two repetitions per breath instead of the 3-5+. Fine. Right now, the focus and direction seems to be on using this method. Do I know why? No. Could I tap into and flood myself with this energy regardless of mantra? Yes. But that doesn’t seem to be the focus.
And I won’t pretend to know what that focus is.
Some may come to the conclusion that this speed or relationship (towards ‘POWER’) should be forced. This would be a mistake. It isn’t about the raw power access to me. It’s more than that and the deepest lessons will not come without a relationship and a respectful practice.
Kali is not some fly-by-night AI-companion that one wishes to become a servitor. Those treating it as lightly will be disappointed, I think. Neither would I try the “I AM A GOD” approach and then fall into the fantasy that she is subdued when *something* answers and somehow the magician prevails.
When one first starts evoking, it’s easy to fall into the trap that the entity called is the entirety of the entity. Or even a majority. It’s a trap. Every facet can have that same level of power, manifesting differently, and you won’t know or affect those without knowing those facets. I know there are pretend authoritative texts out there that claim to control the all. It’s ironic that some of those same texts then spout Shroedinger’s Cat reference (or Quantum) and somehow don’t feel like hypocritical idiots when speaking of encapsulated encounters.
God name calling and form ASSumption is more of the same. They have purpose, but don’t fall int the trap of emotion=magical XYZ. Or delusional, bipolar, histrionic, and similar personalities would OWN the magical world.
Why bring this up? Because I am intentionally aware that this is only PART of Kali that I am calling on. Right now, it’s the only part I need. This will take time to do right, especially when the ask is “small”. Except it isn’t. Intentional offerings with attention, energy, time, and misc are much more effective from an energy perspective.
That’s not the same thing as more valuable. It’s what I’ve been asked to do and I am more than capable of doing so.
