The Rise of AI an Unforeseen Consequences of Sigilization

I had an interesting dilemma pop into my head the other day as I pondered releasing photos of my last (and future) rituals with visible sigils. Do I release them and hope they aren’t somewhat uncovered? Would that lead towards potential adverse (re)actions when this was discovered? Not all of them are for baneful work. Does that make it a privacy issue? What about photos put up in the past, years ago, that I no longer have control over?

The overall thought is that it is unlikely to be a significant issue. But the risk isn’t 0%. Some (pretend) adults frequently in the media take the smallest disagreement on like it’s WW3, underlying the their pretend adulthood. But that risk will never be 0%.

I’m sure that some relish the idea of a magician interfering with THE WORLD through BLACK MAGIC could get their due. It’s cute, but I think people like myself have already shown that I’m more than willing to use it in whatever pretend color I decide. You could toss a FAAFO on there, if you’d like. It seem to be popping up on bumper stickers a lot lately. I’m pretty sure you don’t need anything but Google Search for that one.

Is it really a threat? Not likely. Some artistic license with the end sigilized forms and phrases couldn’t hurt. I tend to do that, especially when I know I’ve done similar things in the past or deliberately want to obscure it a little more. I also don’t always do my sigils the same way, either. Vowels, no vowels. Mark our some doubles, but not others. Spice things up a bit in the ritual chamber bedroom, so to speak.

What else can you do? If you publish a lot of ritual photos with phrases similar to your sigil or with obvious letters, you may consider rephrasing the description, title, etc… This is a small way to help prevent the training of your specific sigils for those haters that just can’t get enough of you.

I’ve been known the cover the sigil in published photos/videos and have the uncovered version in the videos for customers and friends. I typically remove the frames that show the name, transaction ids, reference ids, names, unsigilized requests with the pictoral version, and names (Sometimes even entity names).

As much as I’d like to think this is just an exercise in adorable psychopathic and obsessive, there can be some severe consequences outside of the magical realm. There are many countries on the planet where performing rituals for any reason is illegal. Early or Excessive AI models may not understand the difference between a magician’s trademark or a sigil and a protestor/aggitator’s symbol. I am thankful for not living in one of those countries, but do offer caution, the same as I did to some Eurasian magicians that wanted to help with a current war of conquest East of Europe.

I don’t have much more to say about it, since it would involve details that would vary greatly. I did want to float the idea and get some thoughts out there into the ephemeral Internet to help those that may search for it later.

THAT FIRST PARAGRAPH though. Can relate. When you say “uncovered” are you referring to found or repurposed by AI?

I did not know that FAAFO was the acronym and honestly I’m #here for it.

I am on the fence when it comes to magic and AI. In a similar vein, both are great tools, but they can be absolutely misused and have severe consequences for anyone using it or who it’s being used against.

I’d never put much thought into my images being processed or replicated by AI, definitely my text, though.

I hadn’t thought of it, either, until I was considering using it for pattern matching to sift through large corporate data stores of different information that may have been overlooked. That’s when I made the jump to regimes that may use it to identify and justify magical practices/practitioners.

I don’t buy into using AI for most Occult practices, since it can’t do the internal changes and progression for you. And you don’t know how it will manifest it, but we do know it will not have the same avenues as “regular” magic – it’s a constrained system dependent upon it’s experiences and it doesn’t have the same spiritual access. People will argue with me on this, but they’re likely not energetic practitioners with a variety of experience in numerous systems.

Just my opinion, but a fully sentient one 😉
