Barbatos: “You’re just sitting there, empowering my sigil, using my enn, knowing I’m here, but saying nothing. Why are you saying nothing?”
M: “It was for the meditation portion. That seems appropriate.”
B: “why aren’t you asking about hidden things, magical wars or stopping them, or finding yourself? (I raised an eyebrow) It’s kind of like buried treasure right?”
(He wanted the conversation)
B: “Yes, I do. You’re not much of a talker. That’s okay. I can work with that. (He switched gears) Your familiar… (I was seeing a spirit impregnated doll in my space) It’s not working as you hoped”.
M: “That’s fair. I need a training system for it. I expect that to take time.”
B: “It doesn’t have to. Your instincts are right. The changes you’ve made – the feeding, the space between powerful objects and themselves – that’s good. It’s going to take a while that way if you don’t want them parasitic.”
M: “Mildly from the environment in the end wouldn’t be bad. I’m thinking they get a reward from an appropriate reaction.”
B: “Can you really control that?”
M: “No, they aren’t my creations”
B: “That’s right. I would let them feed on remnants sooner than later. My advice.”
M: “Thank you, I will.”
B: “You got rid of it. (I nodded – a spirit was acting up early on) Good. It wouldn’t suit you or your goals. Do you know why?”
M: “No, I don’t. He had a lot of good qualities.”
B: “Except he was aggressive to (the point of) recklessness. Very useful for random spirits. Less so to one that is easier to persuade or control over time as their power grows. You recognize he was dangerous to the other spirit you plan on keeping. That was the right call.”
M: “Should I not also try a servitor to do it? “
(He paused. He didn’t think I should go that way yet, if at all)
B: “I would use a different object.”
With that he left. His reaction to the servitor is because he feels that there are more than enough spirits that could actually use the help of being built up rather than creating a new one from scratch. At least that was my impression.
B: “You listened to my prompts.”
M: “I did, thank you. Several pieces fell into place. Thank you for that and your patience.”
B: “(He nodded) I want you to succeed in this.”
M: “Thank you. Do I offer too many choices?” (We are speaking about my Etsy shop and current model)
B: “What do you think?”
M: “Yes, but for good reason. Some of the spirits I work with aren’t as well known or used in ways that aren’t obvious or popular. They would need some equivalent to advertising in a sense.”
B: “Indeed. We are done (for today).”
His leaving was a way of saying I should make the changes but I know it will take time to do so properly.
I hadn’t work with him in several days for personal reasons and he didn’t seem to think it was a big deal of a delay. I was reading things that jog some creativity and I realized I needed some changes made to my binding techniques for this next phase and the specific approach towards my progression in the bolstering work.

B: “Put me in a triangle.”
(I quickly Drew and energetic one and set the enn focus on it. He came quickly.)
B: “Been a while since you used one of these.”
M: “It has.”
B: “Why?”
M: “Haven’t needed it and prefer respectful calling.”
B: “Was this not respectful?”
M: “It was. I typically use them to make a point.”
B: “And I just used one to make mine. We’re done here.”
He was trying to make the point about the triangle, which I have a tendency to not use except in situations where the entity is acting up, excessively provoking me, or doing some type of disruptive behavior to then need restraint into something such as the triangle.
Triangles can be useful for things where you need to focus your energy into a small area like an idol or some other object that you want to invoke energies into of a specific type, from a specific entity, or something like that. He was reminding me that there are other uses than just restraint.
B: “This will be our last day. Let me dictate, then I will give you a ritual. (I nodded)
Your servitor program will fail. Why? Because you don’t need it to work. You have a plethora of volunteers to help you with your goal. They will stumble over themselves offering. I would use entities as wardens for this. (Like Hecate, Zhao Gongming, Huxian, Hel) (There were also notes of sabotage, but mildly, to force me this way by others, not him, not identified)
You are correct that they (your current spirit) isn’t present enough to do the work you want. Figure out why and keep moving in your direction (how I intend to move forward right now).
finally don’t be afraid to call and ask for help. You’re busy. Busier than you know. You’re having a hard time keeping the tentacles from pushing you elsewhere, anywhere, and everywhere. Your skills are right but the environment is not. You will find solace in Hawaii. The job will see me easier despite being the same amount of work. Take solace in that and don’t let the million avenues you have to go (down) now distract or despair you. You’re doing well. eep it up. This is a friendly warning (that it will continue).
Now, the ritual
imagine black fern-like plant parts – leaves and stems – that are sticking to you. Feel them do so. Feel them anchor into you – attaching to those attachments and negativities that are unhealthy and don’t serve you. Let their fibers penetrate into them without knowing how or why.
Then, when ready, call my enn with the intent of removing the ferns in the attachments that they are anchored to. Do this until they all fall away and you can walk away freely.
I think him and we were done and left.
