Let’s get the video in place first.
It was one of the last posts I made on Become A Living God, as cringe and misleading as that title is. It’s been a good 4 months since I’ve been attacked from a source from those forums. Lasted for over a year and failed. To be clear, these were individuals associated with the forum, not the company, that I’m aware of.
I had disagreements with the totalitarian nature of moderation there, not dissimilar to some complaints from Reddit. Before I continue, there was, maybe still is, a mod in the Land of the Maple Syrup Mafia. Of all of the incoming things, none were his. And he had an exception to anything that went out. You’re missed, my friend. I stand ready to assist your personal goals and miss your friendship.
But, not all are as honorable as my Maple friend I mentioned. Some are. Let’s take a moment to examine the business model that keeps balg in business, shall we?
Balg as a business requires the constant production of Magical 101X and maybe Magical 201X tomes. They largely won’t go above that without specialized people. It’s an inch-deep (hopefully half-mile wide) model. The academic and non-sycophant scrutiny would be too intense. This is why their videos are never more the 101 or 201, regardless of whether they’re in book form or an overpriced course for the same stuff you could find elsewhere.
Now, they’ll take some subject, regardless of what it is, and then attach emotional “achievements” to it to pretend that there’s advancement through emotional effort. That can work in counseling, to be sure, BUT that requires a qualified therapist, not one or more addicts strung out on XYZ designed to influence emotionally or psychologically immature individuals to part with their money.

I now largely post here, as I intended to when I left Balg. I stated as much. I was asked to help found a forum, which I did. The fact that they put the hammer on me when I Ieft only reinforced my reasons for leaving and made those obvious to regular folk. I was moving my personal threads to “private/hidden” status since the forum owners clearly didn’t deserve the years of work I did.
A week later, I was approached to help start another forum. It wasn’t my idea and put this blog site on hold, which I had purchased before left Become a Living Fraud.
Sure, some forum “Adepts” from Balg tried to hand me my ass. They sometimes still do. Most of the attempts are half-ass, overly-emotional approaches by immature magicians (excessive emotion was your tipoff). Still here, but a few of the literal heart attacks (energetic) almost worked for 30 seconds.
I’m getting ready to move back to Hawaii for another 3 years, with a house with a 99% chance of being rented within several weeks. When I go house hunting in a few weeks, there are already spirits out helping to source things without having been asked, because I honor and respect those I work with. This is what happens with mature magical partnerships and is distinctly different from what you’re likely to earn from simply inverting RHP practices and dumping a bunch of emotional garbage on top to make the gruel.
No idiotic black alchemy needed for emotional “wins” that aren’t much different that Self-Help book busy work that requires effort, but doesn’t result in actual progress. There’s a difference. I hope at least one or two of those enthralled in emotional whirlwind nonsense will recognize it for the money game it is and stop putting time, energy, and money into that circus of mirrors.
